Das vielseitigste Produkt von FarSite ist der FarSync Flex Synchronous/Asynchronous Adapter. Seit 2007 auf dem globalen Markt und als Favorit der am meisten nachgefragte Adapter wurde von einigen der weltweit größten Unternehmen in unzählige Lösungen von Drittanbietern für die anspruchsvollsten Anwendungen integriert. Die FarSync Flex-Hardware ist auch die Grundlage für den USB BERT-Tester und X25-Adapter.
Die Möglichkeiten von FarSync Flex wurden nun um die Hochleistungsversion FarSync Flex+ erweitert.
Diese hochleistungsfähige Version unterstützt:
- Synchrone Leitungsraten von bis zu 20 Mbits/s und asynchrone Leitungsgeschwindigkeiten von bis zu 115,2 Kbits/s
- Unterstützung des LAPB-Protokolls - zur Verwendung mit Leitungen, auf denen das LAPB-Level-2-Protokoll läuft (im Gegensatz zum HDLC-Framing der Nutzdaten).
- Passive Überwachungsfunktion - ermöglicht es Netzwerktechnikern, bestehende Leitungen zu überwachen und den synchronen oder asynchronen Verkehr passiv zu erfassen, ohne dass sie als Endpunkt auf der Leitung agieren müssen
